SO CUTE! THE ART OF HAPPINESS
ルーブル・ランス美術館の企画展「SO CUTE! THE ART OF HAPPINESS」に、川井徳寛が新作を出品いたします。
絵画、彫刻、写真、映像、オブジェ、映画、書籍、インスタレーションなど、300点を超える傑作を通して、展覧会「So Cute! The Art of Happiness」は、古代から現代までの美術の歴史をたどりながら、私たちの心の動きを見つめます。
現代の「カワイイ」やフランス語の「ミニョン（mignon）」といった概念まで、本展では、「かわいらしさ」という美的感覚が私たちに与える深い影響に着目し、美術作品がいかに喜びや安らぎをもたらすのかをひも解いていきます。
「かわいらしい」という感覚が生まれた背景と、その表現がどのように発展してきたのかをひも解くことで、本展は、やさしさや愛らしさが、喧騒に満ちた世界をひととき静め、私たちの心に安らぎをもたらす力に光を当てます。

With more than 300 masterpieces—including paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos, objects, films, books, and installations—the exhibition So Cute! The Art of Happiness takes us on a journey through the history of art, from ancient times to the present day, as we explore our emotions.
From contemporary ideas of kawaii and the French concept of mignon (“cute”), the exhibition explores the profound impact of this aesthetic of adorableness and how artworks can bring us joy and comfort.
By tracing the origins of our sense of “cuteness” and exploring how this aesthetic has evolved over time, the exhibition sheds light on the power of tenderness and affection to quiet the clamour of the world for a moment and bring comfort to our hearts.
